By contract, the ES Technical Support team develops and posts documents and spreadsheets to assist users in using the Early Steps Data System. However, questions regarding policy should be addressed to the appropriate program manager at the Early Steps State Office (ESSO), or defined in ES Policy or Guidelines.

The Codes/Documents section of the ES Technical Support web-site is organized into the following categories that correspond to the orange navigation bar above:

• Codes - Includes many Excel-based files listing codes commonly used in the data system, like races, recipients, dispositions, etc.
• Documentation - Includes a variety of materials including ES Handbook chapters, How-to guides, training outlines, ESSO contract invoicing guidelines, etc.
• ES Forms - Includes commonly used forms like User Security Agreements, demographic forms, etc.
• Links - Includes Links to other sites of interest, like EDS-Medicaid, ESSO Policies and Guidlelines, etc.
